I have a lot of locos, frieght cars and structures on an IKEA shelf below the layout…I painted the foam (and some of the wood) an odd tan colored latex exterior paint that I got from Lowe’s in their “Oops” bin. Eventually, the fascia will be Pacific Electric roof gray (close enough to UP Harbor Mist)
