At last!

Last week, I bought a pair or long out of production Miniatures by Eric Pacific Electric shells. The passenger unit is a 1100 class, and the box motor is a 1445 class. Both of these will be powered by Tomix chassis.

I can’t wait to see real Pacific Electric traction on the Playa Desnuda branch.

Railfanning Playa Desnuda at Sunset…

February 22, 1953  was a special day for the Pacific Electric. It marked the only time that a Pacific Electric PCC car went down the Airline. Fortunately, they ran the PCC’s down to Playa Desnuda almost every weekday during the summer for people to enjoy the beach view.
