Or should I say brass? I have been working on a Traincat Southern Pacific C-30-6 caboose kit for the last six months or so. I have been assembling sections like the floor. Today I took a giant step forward by painting the orange ends and steps of the caboose. I plan to mask the bay window ends. This caboose is being detailed for a later caboose with a post 1980 paint scheme. I am planning on using a Micro-Trains wood caboose on thr California layout.
